It all begins with clay.

Working from her garden studio in Kingston upon-Thames, Bridget creates wheel-thrown ceramics designed to bring beauty and function to everyday life. Each piece passes through five careful stages and two firings, transforming raw clay into vessels meant to be used, touched, and cherished.

Her journey with clay began in childhood in South Africa, where a potter shared her craft and wisdom with a curious young neighbour. Perhaps it was inevitable, a child whose favourite smell was rain on the hot sand was always meant to work with mud.
